How to Order
Placing an order is easy! Simply fill out the order form or contact me at eli@thesugarloftbakery.com. By submitting your payment, you agree to the terms outlined in these policies.
Payment
All payments are processed via invoice.
Payment is required at the time of your order to confirm it.
I do not have a storefront and I work out of my home, for this reason and the safety of my family, my exact address will be provided only after your order is confirmed.
Allergen Statement
At Sugar Loft Bakery, all products are 100% gluten-free and prepared in my dedicated gluten free home kitchen. While my kitchen is free of gluten, I do work with ingredients that may contain:
Eggs
Dairy
Nuts
Soy
I take every precaution to prevent cross-contact, but those with severe allergies should consume at their own risk. Sugar Loft Bakery is not responsible for any allergic reactions.
Pickup
Pickup Hours:
Fridays: 4PM - 7 PM
Saturdays: 10 AM - 1 PM
You must select a pickup time during these hours. If no time is chosen, one will be assigned to you.
If you miss your scheduled pickup, your order will be placed in a cooler at the side entrance of my home for the remainder of the day. While the cooler offers basic protection, Sugar Loft Bakery is not responsible for items left after a missed pickup. Any items not picked up by 9 PM will be discarded or donated.
In case of emergencies, please contact me as soon as possible. If I experience an emergency, you will receive a full refund.
Business Hours
My business hours are:
Monday to Friday: 11 AM - 6 PM
Saturday: 10 AM - 1 PM
During these hours, I will respond to emails, process orders, and provide customer support.
Ordering, Cancellation & Refunds
Orders under $150 must be paid in full at the time of placement in order to be confirmed. Orders of $150 or more require a 50% non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to pick-up. Failure to pay by the due date will result in order cancellation.
Quotes are valid for 48 hours. After that time, prices may change based on availability.
Pastry Orders /Dessert Menu Orders
Require at least 5 days' notice.
All sales are final.
Custom Cake Orders
Must be placed a minimum of 3 weeks before your desired pickup date.
Orders of $150 or more require a 50% non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to pick-up. Failure to pay by the due date will result in order cancellation.
Last-minute orders are subject to availability and must be paid in full upon placement. Rush fees may apply.
Cancellations
For custom orders paid in full, cancellations made within 14 days of purchase may be eligible for a partial refund.
For weddings and upscale events, additional contracts and policies will apply.
Refunds are only issued back to the original payment method.
If you are unhappy with your order, please contact me immediately. Refunds will not be given for issues related to personal taste preferences.
Design Policy
Each item I create is unique. While I will do my best to match your vision, exact replicas of other bakers' work are not guaranteed.
I cannot guarantee exact color matches.
Design or flavor changes must be requested via email and may result in a new invoice. Changes are subject to availability.
Cake Tastings
Cake tastings are available for weddings and upscale events at a cost of $85. Price is subject to change if you modify your standard tasting as detailed below.
Includes: (3) 2 layer 4-inch mini cakes with 3 different cake/filling flavors.
Additional flavors can be added at an additional cost.
After the tasting, we’ll schedule a follow-up phone consultation to finalize your order.
Half of the tasting fee ($42.50) will be applied to your final order.
Caring for Your Items
Cakes should be stored in the refrigerator and brought to room temperature for one hour before serving. Best consumed within two days.
Macarons are best refrigerated but can remain at room temperature for 24 hours. Allow them to sit for 30 minutes at room temperature before enjoying.
All other baked goods last about three days at room temperature in an airtight container.
Transporting Cakes: Place cakes on a flat surface (like the floor on the passenger side of your car) and use air conditioning in warm weather. Avoid placing cakes on car seats or near heat sources.
Never leave cakes in direct sunlight or summer heat. Support structures inside large cakes must be removed before serving.
Communication
All order details, payment confirmations, and inquiries will be handled via email. Please add eli@sugarloftbakery.com to your contacts to ensure you receive my messages.
Delivery
Venue Delivery starts at $35 within a 10-mile radius. Additional miles are billed at $1.50 per mile.

General Order Delivery is also available starting at $1.50 per mile.
